Evening Has Become Another Workday

Evening Has Become Another Workday

For many of us, the workday doesn't end when we log off, it just continues in a different language.

The emails become text messages. The meetings become appointments you need to schedule. The project plan becomes the grocery list sitting in your notes app. Instead of responding to coworkers, you're responding to life.

The tasks themselves aren't particularly difficult. It's that they arrive all at once, in the same few hours between the end of work and the beginning of tomorrow. Return the package. Refill the prescription. Figure out dinner. Book the dentist appointment. Water the plants. Pay the parking ticket. Research flights for next month. Text your friend back before it's been another week.

Most of them take less than ten minutes. Together, they quietly become the evening.

What's interesting is that we don't usually think of this as work. We think of it as "getting a few things done." But it requires the same thing our jobs do: attention. Decision-making. Planning. Remembering. Switching between tasks. Solving little problems all night long.

That's why it's possible to spend an entire evening crossing things off your list and still feel like your brain never got a chance to rest.

Modern life has become remarkably efficient at filling empty space. If there's twenty minutes before dinner, there's probably something you could do. If you're waiting for a friend to arrive, you could answer a few emails, order more toothpaste, or finally cancel that subscription you've been meaning to cancel. Every gap starts to look like an opportunity to be productive.

The result is that rest becomes something we schedule around productivity instead of something we prioritize alongside it. We tell ourselves we'll relax after we're finished, but the list has a funny way of regenerating overnight.

Why We Made DeStress

We created DeStress because managing stress is about so much more than getting through a busy day. It's about helping your body respond to the everyday demands of modern life, creating moments of calm, and making it easier to feel present instead of constantly running from one thing to the next.

That's why we formulated DeStress with adaptogens and thoughtfully selected ingredients like ashwagandha, GABA, L-tyrosine, rhodiola rosea, and bacopa to help support a sense of calm, mental clarity, focus, and your body's response to everyday stress as part of your daily routine.*

Not because we think one supplement is the answer, but because we believe feeling your best starts with supporting your mind as consistently as you support the rest of your health.

Because your evenings shouldn't be about squeezing in one more thing. They should have room for you, too.
