Your Summer Routine Should Fit in a Beach Bag

Your Summer Routine Should Fit in a Beach Bag

Summer has a way of exposing every wellness routine that was never realistic to begin with.

Because the second people travel, stay somewhere other than their own apartment, spend a full day outside, or have plans three nights in a row, the whole thing falls apart.

Suddenly there are seventeen supplements sitting untouched on the counter, someone is stress-ordering a salad to “get back on track,” and everybody is acting like a long weekend erased their entire personality.

Meanwhile summer is sitting there like: Can you relax?

Your routine should work in real life

A good wellness routine should survive airport mornings, beach days, late dinners, road trips, sleeping at your friend’s apartment, sunscreen, wine, random plans, and someone texting “want to grab dinner?” at 6 PM.

Because life is supposed to happen.

Somewhere along the way, wellness became weirdly rigid. People started building routines that only function under perfect conditions with unlimited time, perfect sleep, and total control over every meal.

That is not real life. Especially not in the summer.

The best summer routines are portable

Honestly, the women having the best summers are usually not the ones overthinking everything.

They are the ones who are prepared enough to stay out longer, say yes more often, and not need to run home every five minutes because something feels “off.”

That is the real value of a good beach bag.

Not perfection. Freedom.

A few things that make the whole day go better:

  • electrolytes because summer somehow dehydrates people immediately
  • Pre+Probiotic because your stomach deserves support for all the dinners, travel, and random snacks
  • lip gloss, hair clip, mini deodorant, phone charger
  • sunglasses that make you feel slightly mysterious
  • sneakers instead of shoes that ruin your night by 8 PM
  • a swimsuit “just in case”
  • gum, always

There is something about carrying tiny things that make life easier and more spontaneous that changes the energy of the day. You become the person who can say yes to another stop, another walk, another patio, another hour.

“The women having the best summers are usually not the ones overthinking everything” need more of this.
