We source our pure, effective ingredients domestically and internationally to find the best ingredients from around the world. We use pure ingredients to create powerful formulations– without harmful fillers or colorants, and without artificial preservatives. We use a blend of natural and synthetic ingredients, based on what's best for each product solution, or what ingredient source is easiest for the body to use, or to achieve a specific dosage. Our vegan, non-GMO supplements are also free of gluten, sugar, artificial preservatives, harmful fillers and colors.
Each batch of our supplements is tested for ingredient identity, purity, strength and composition, so we can be sure that what’s on the label is what’s in the supplements. We also test each batch for microbes, allergens and heavy metals, and we perform periodic tests for pesticides and other contaminants, ensuring all are below levels deemed safe by the FDA’s current Good Manufacturing Practices. The majority of testing is performed by independent third parties.
By law, the FDA does not approve dietary supplements or ingredient claims. However, the FDA does regulate both dietary supplements and dietary ingredients. We follow the FDA’s current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) regulations, which were established for dietary supplements in 2007. These regulations require that each batch of our supplements is tested for ingredient identity, purity, strength and composition, so we can be sure that what’s on the label is what’s in our supplements. We also test each batch for microbes, allergens and heavy metals, and we perform periodic tests for pesticides and other contaminants, ensuring all are below levels deemed safe by the FDA’s current Good Manufacturing Practices.

At Rae, we formulate evidence-based supplements that specifically address the needs of women who care about their health and are backed by appropriate science. To do that, we leverage a team of scientists to conduct a deep review of studies and literature along with other relevant sources of information about dietary ingredients and women’s health needs. We use all of this information to formulate pure and powerful combinations of dietary ingredients.
Our pure and powerful supplements contain many plant-derived botanical ingredients known to support your well-being. Because these ingredients come from nature, the color of a product can change slightly from time to time. Likewise, we are continually evaluating our product formulas and occasionally may make small updates to ensure we're always providing you with high-quality, effective solutions based on the latest ingredient research. If you have any concerns about the color of your product, please reach out to our team at email@example.com
CBD, short for cannabidiol, is one of more than 100 known biologically active chemical compounds (called cannabinoids) that are found in the cannabis plant. Emerging research indicates that CBD has the potential to support holistic health and well-being.*
Both hemp and marijuana are varieties of the plant species Cannabis sativa L. Unlike marijuana, however, hemp contains only trace amounts delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the cannabinoid primarily responsible for the plant’s intoxicating effects or “high.” Legally, hemp must contain 0.3% THC or less by dry weight, and marijuana contains more than 0.3% THC. In addition to having low THC levels, hemp plants commonly contain high levels of CBD.
Yes! The 2018 Farm Bill legalized the production of hemp and its derivatives (such as CBD) in the United States. Rae’s CBD products are made from hemp grown in the United States by licensed cultivators and are third-party tested to ensure quality and lawful THC content.
Rae's hemp products are classified as broad spectrum.
Broad spectrum means the hemp product contains multiple hemp-derived cannabinoids (e.g., CBD), terpenes, and other naturally occurring compounds, but the THC has been removed to non-detectable levels (i.e., less than 0.01% THC).
Full spectrum means the hemp product contains multiple hemp-derived cannabinoids, terpenes, and other naturally occurring compounds, but full spectrum products are processed without the intentional complete removal of any compound and without the addition of isolated cannabinoids. Full spectrum products contain a final THC concentration of not greater than 0.3%.
The short answer is “nope!” The CBD we use in our products is derived from hemp and cannot legally contain more than 0.3% THC (the cannabinoid that causes a “high”). Furthermore, broad spectrum hemp extract products, like our Rae CBD products, are processed to remove THC. Rae’s products will not get you “high.”
Our CBD hemp supplement drops contain holy basil and geranium essential oils and have a subtle hemp flavor. Our CBD capsules include a mint desiccant for freshness, which gives them a subtle minty smell and taste. For our customers that do not prefer the taste of hemp, we suggest our CBD capsules.
All Rae CBD products are third-party tested by independent laboratories to ensure quality. You can find the Certificate of Analysis for any of our CBD supplements by scanning the QR code on the product box or by following this link.
CAPSULES: The CBD in our capsules is crafted from organically produced hemp grown in the United States, and the powdered extract is nanotized to help with absorption. The black pepper extract and rice powder are also organically produced. We chose to include black pepper extract with 10% piperine because of piperine’s demonstrated ability to increase the bioavailability of CBD. Please note that the final product has not been certified as organic because there are no organic vegan capsules available.
Our CBD Drops have been certified as organic by NICS. The CBD in our oil tincture is derived from organically produced hemp grown in the United States, and the holy basil and geranium used in our Drops are also organically crafted.
Rae's recommended serving size for our CBD Capsules is two (2) capsules per day. Our recommended serving size for our CBD Drops is one (1) mL per day. Because every person is different, we always recommend that you consult with your doctor or healthcare provider before using any supplement or CBD product.
Medium-chain triglyceride oil (or MCT oil) is extracted from coconut oil and is utilized in our tincture as a carrier oil for the CBD.
Our CBD hemp supplement drops are likely to change color if exposed to sunlight, due to the inclusion of high quality, organic MCT oil derived from coconuts. Clear, light yellow, dark yellow and pink are all totally normal and expected colors for our CBD hemp supplement drops. If you would prefer to limit color change in your CBD supplement, please store it in a cool, dry place away from light. If you have any concerns about the color of your product, please reach out to our team at firstname.lastname@example.org
